very hard to find anymore.  Nobody currently is selling them (but someone was almost ready to start selling some refurbs).

Ebay is your only decent option... but expect to pay a MINT for them.  200-400 depending on quality is very normal.  100 - 150 for missing parts.

good luck

...and it's referred to as a yoke not a joystick...

Star Wars Arcade - it has a joystick.  Maybe he means this one.

If he is looking for those type joysticks he should look at this Ebay auction. I don't know if they are the same exact joysticks but they certainly look the same.

Here is my question, can I use a jet fighter joystick and it work with the Star Wars Arcade game?

Or will I have to adjust the sensitivedy in the game?

I havent seen the tech specs of the star wars yoke compared to a standard fighter joystick.

And I mean the original arcade game.

Well thanks, I was just wondering how different the yoke stick is compared to a happ analog fighter stick.  The switches are pretty much the same right?

Woah i thought you meant like a pc joystick not the analog happs one.  I havent used one of those before so im not sure if you would need any adjustments or what they might be if you do.

not sure what the analog uses but the yoke had potentiometers.  i guess they would work the same.  though it seems like a lot for the fighter stick compared to using a pc stick.

You can use any analog joystick (arcade or PC) to play Star Wars, provided you have the proper interface (AKI, A-pac, etc... for the arcade ones).
The original yoke was just an x-y analog control, with 4 buttons.
The buttons were programmed redundantly in most games.
