So far these buttons have not been repro'ed.  A google search on RGVAC will turn up some hits from some guys who investigated this, but the tooling setup costs quoted by Cherry ($10,000+, I think?) pretty much ended that idea.

Your best bet is to scour eBay for just the buttons or Atari control panels that still have the buttons intact.  Some people have found local arcade op's that still have the buttons on the shelf, but when they are gone, they are gone.  :)

I have been hoping to just randomly find one for some time now. So I can upgrade my Assault cabinet to the two player version. I already have the Japan boardset installed, which is identical to the US version except that it supports two player alternating. All I need now is a matching button to add a player two start button.

Does anyone know of a source to get the original Atari Cone/Volcano Buttons
like the ones used in Missle Command?

Thanks,
Doug

Ok. Can someone turn off the AUTO Censor? I can't even type in the name of the game A S S A U L T without the autocensor turning it into ault and making me look like some sort of nimrod talking about ault (whatever that is?).

Ok. It looks like you can type Assault as long a you don't put the word "My" in front of it. As in "Kiss My A S S A U L T".

Would someone by chance have a high resolution picture of the Atari cones...or even a drawing/schematic ?

Thanks very much,

Drawing?  We don't need no stinking 2D drawings.  Oscars got CAD drawings!
