Picture slideshow for Jukebox
« on: November 23, 2007, 02:22:09 pm »
I am planning on building a jukebox for our family room in the next few weeks. I found a really nice ELO touchscreen monitor off of someone in a home automation forum. The goal is to flush mount it in the wall and build a picture frame around it and wire it to a distribution amp to feed multiple sets of speakers throughout the house.

I want to use it as a digital picture frame as well. Can anyone recommend a good slideshow application? Alternatively, I would be happy to launch the slide show application upon exiting the jukebox software. I see that SK Jukebox has an option to do this. Has anyone tried anything similar?

I bought a screensaver called "123 Slide Master & Screensaver" several years ago and really like it. It comes as shareware and when you register it, the nag bar is removed.

I set it up to run family pictures too.

There is a built in XP Slideshow that will show a directory of images as a screensaver... Freebox Attact mode can also be set up to start cycling images with the now playing screen as part of it's attract mode.
