Vectrex overlays through MALA?
« on: November 16, 2007, 09:40:28 am »
Hey, all!

I have Vectrex emulation working through MESS, using MALA as my frontend.  I also have all necessary artwork for screen overlays in the ARTWORK folder for MESS.

When I launch a game, I can TAB to the MESS configuration and define an overlay for the game I'm running, but when I launch another game, the old overlay is still there.

How can I set up my MALA command line or MESS so that launching a game will automatically load the correct screen overlay?

Many thanks in advance!

I would imagine the MESS emulator should be the one which is responsible for displaying the proper overlay for you.   Is there no command line option which states which overlay to use when launching a Vectrex game via the MESS emulator?
