How to configure Mala for a 3 sided cocktail cabinet...
« on: November 13, 2007, 03:08:46 pm »
I recently completed my cocktail cabinet, and I have installed mala on it, and I've heard all sorts of cool stuff can be done with mala on cocktail cabinets, but I don't know how to get mine all up and running.

My cocktail has 2 seperate control panels on either end with the screen oriented vertically.  I also have another control panel running along one long side that has controls for both player 1 and 2 and when sitting at that cp, the screen is oriented horizontally.

I would love to be able to have it switch to a horrizontal list when on that control panel, and a vertial list on either of the other end panels (and on the vertical panels, if it could flip the screen whether you're navigating with the p1 or p2 controls).

I have tried to futz around with the options in mala, but I don't think I'm getting it.  Any help with this would be appreciated.

I'd love to hear people's thoughts on this too but from what I understand an iPac4 is almost a necessity for this.  I only have an iPac2 so Players 1 and 3 share controls as do Players 2 and 4...

I use an iPac4 with mine and it works great.  You can use an iPac 2 but it would share controls.  Mala is the best to use for it.
I b**ch. People listen!!

I got away with using an ipac 2.  I only have three Joysticks each with 3 buttons  :)
