My MAME cab progress so far
« on: November 12, 2007, 09:41:42 pm »
So... 2 1/2 years ago I decided to do a MAME cab. I got the design together and all the pieces cut, but I never had a chance to assemble it until now. It's based off the Arcade Paradise 3 cabinet.

I'll be using a 27" TV as the monitor but I'm not going to put it in there with the PC until I get all the cosmetics done. If I get it up and running now I'll never finish it!

I was originally going to do Sin City themed artwork (as in the graphic novels) but I might be rethinking it since I decided on that over 2 years ago and I've seen a lot of good examples that have given me some other ideas.

Anyway, here you go. I'll post more when there's more progress.

the rats nest of wires. I'm gonna clean this up.

thanks!
Shortly after these were taken my pain the ass cat jumped on the CP and flipped it off onto the concrete floor.  :hissy:Cracked the bottom of the case, broke a few buttons, and scuffed up the tops of all the joysticks. It could have been worse but I was ready to throw the cat through the wall.
