Hooking up light guns to pc

can i hook up regular arcade game light guns to the computer? I want to play police trainer in my cab and i have a set of lightguns but i dont know if i can hook them to my computer. can this be done and how do i do it?

Yes it's possible but there are a lot of
different options  (PC light gun, PS/2 guncons,
etc)

thats not what im trying to do i dont want to use them guns. I have regular arcade guns and i want to hook them up. If you know how to wire them what would i use the keyboard input or should i use the mouse input?

they dont work you need the act-labs or ems lcd topgun.
