Identifying megatouch security keys
« on: November 11, 2007, 02:08:09 am »
Hey guys...

I have a bunch of megatouch security keys laying around.  I have no idea what software versions they require.

Is there some way i can identify them ?

Is there any other way than by number ? I have some that I can't read the tags on. They have resistances. The one I have in my crown says invalid key. Does someone know the resistance of a crown key?

wut????

the key has a digitally stored number that identifies itself to the software on request. if the number matches what it's supposed to be, it runs. if not, it says invalid.

Oh ok. I thought maybe they had different resistances. Guess I'll have to throw out these ones I have and buy a new crown key. Thanks.
