Racing cabinet + emulator...return-to-center on wheel??
« on: November 07, 2007, 03:26:18 pm »
Hi again!

Have anyone heard of anyone who has build an emulator into a racing-cabinet using the APAC?

You see, I am interested in knowing how they got the return-to-center to work on the
wheel....since that usually take active force-feedback to work. But that won't work with
emulators like Vivanonno and M2. Do people just use a very slobby wheel, or?:)

I want to interface the wheel etc. with the PC with an APAC

I can live without force-feedback, but NOT without return-to-center :hissy:

Thanks
Nicholas

Springs. :-\

OTOH, some ForceFeedback PC wheels drivers simulate a return to center if the game doesn't support FF.  However, you'd need to hack the PC hardware that used said drivers, instead of using an apac.
