Problem with mala (boot with windows), no keys work
« on: November 06, 2007, 09:05:30 pm »
I had mala working great. I configured it to work with my cp, got it the way i wanted itthen set it to boot with windows. Now when it boots the i cant use anything. When i manually boot it from the mala exe it works fine it only happens when it boots with windows. I searched on here and found something about the alt key with the ipac. When it boots and its froze i can hit the alt key on my cp. It then brings up a window on top of mala that says move , minimize , close. I use the shift function on the ipac 1 + left to hit enter on close. It closes the window and mala works fine. It works if ihit alt, then enter on close but i dont want to have to do that every time i start my cabinet. Any ideas? IM running winxp, iv just restored the computer to factory settings. Thanks

I believe this is a common bug and is being worked on....

For now UNCHECK the "start mala with windows" option in mala config

create a shortcut to mala.exe and put it in the C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup  directory and it should work for you
If it ain't broke give it to me...i'll soon fix that
