Ok, I've been put in charge of building the office MAME cab and I'm 99% there. I've finished the CP, the computer setup process, and everything else except for getting the darn thing to work well with the arcade monitor. I'm using a standard res monitor taken from a SFII machine. I'm using an ArcadeVGA 2 and it's almost working well, but every time I move from Windows to the front end or from game to game, the image rolls. Each time we switch games, I need to adjust the hold pots to get it in view...but it still kinda sucks.
So, here's the issue. Is there a way to get the setup working where I don't have to fiddle with pots every time we swap games, or is this just something you have to deal with if you don't have a multisync monitor? Should I just go the TV route (like I did with my home MAME), or is it worth fighting this thing for a bit more authenticity?
Any help/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated.
