Okay.  I am trying to figure out which joysticks to use for my control panel.  I want something versatile enough to be playable for all games, but close enough to original feel as possible.  Given the list of games below (with most played at the top of the list), which joystick would you choose:  P360, wico 8-way leafs, midway 49-way??

List of games:  Robotron, Stargate, Ms. Pacman, qbert, smash tv, Crazy climber, Defender, Wizard of War, galaga, gyruss, moon patrol, pengo, qix, tutankham, berzerk, xevious, gauntlet, space invaders

Thanks!

Sinistar, 25" Smash TV, Major Havoc 720, Star Wars cockpit w/ESB kit, Robotron cocktail, Warlords cocktail, Back to the Future pinball

8-ways with square actuators.

The only game you NEED a 49-way for is Sinistar. It does not have an original feel at all either. The only game on your list that will be a  problem with an 8-way is Ms. Pacman. Most of the others are either 8-way or 2-way.

I'd go 8 way rotary and you would cover even more.

But as I see you don't care about rotary games, so stick with an 8way...though might I at LEAST suggest a dedicated 4-way.   So many games use them.
