Actually I used the search function prior to my post, but I wanted some feedback that was more recent than what I found. Thanks for the reply anyway... :badmood:

I do not see a tool for it above when I post.

edit:much thanks javeryh! That should be added to the posting options :)

Ive been toying with the idea of a drum stool. Obviously depends what type of cocktail(s) you have (if you are wanting them to match etc that is)

I think something like this would be pretty sweet.

Edit: Just followed your link lcddream, great minds think alike  ;)

I've got a few low profile shop stools that were given to me. Looks like the photo only their a hideous blue green (might have to try some vinyl dye at some point).

Being a drummer, I can tell you a drum stool (aka drum throne) is not a good solution to this issue.  They are designed in such a way that if you use them for a long period of time without a lot of body movement, your butt will go numb and can cause some minor back aches.  the "motorcycle" style seats are even worse for this.

There are some thrones that prevent this problem, but they're in the $120 and up range.

I just use a normal padded chair that has a "cup" to the seat.  Never had a problem with it.

I have the motorcycle seat drum throne for my cocktail, and I have absolutely no issues at all with it.

edit: For the record i have 2 Groove Percussion motorcycle seat style drum thrones for my cocktail.

I paid about $50 each at sam ash, I think they were 40 or 50% off at the time. The padding is ample, and it fits the backside nicely.
