Reviving a suicided CPS3 cart
« on: October 29, 2007, 10:30:29 am »
Anyone know if this is possible yet, considering we can now emulate cps3 stuff?

I purchased an SF3 NG over the weekend at an auction for $10, figured it was 50/50 dead or alive. Well, its dead :) but for $10, I'll take the chance.

So, can i revive this, or am I SOL?

cheers

Well, you can be one of those unscrupulous ebay sellers and sell it as
"Great cosmetic condition. I don't have a way to test it, so I'm selling as is."

 ;)

Yeah, I have a PFII board that I need to verify the suicide battery on.

In any case, I've come across discussions where the battery is permanently removed and modified ROMs are burned in. It's worth a look.  :dunno

heh unless the price is $30ish, I'm not too interested in another one. I only bought this one because it was $10, I really would only want 3rd strike :)
