inversion circuit problem solved!
« on: May 06, 2003, 04:20:46 pm »
So i've been pulling my hair out for the last 3 weeks, getting really sick of the Dr. Mario them song (thats the cab i have now!), meanwhile i have been deliberating on what to do about my monitor. So for the time being anyway, i've decided to go with arcade vga, and the inversion circuit.

I found a web site that actually sells kits which invert the colors on a nintendo monitor:
http://randyfromm.com/amusements/yellowpages/zanen/,

when i talked to the guy he told me you make a few adjustments to the chip that is in there and your set (when i actually attempt i'll re post), he also said there is detailed instructions, and he'd be willing to help, all this for only 4.95 plus shipping and handling.

My other path led me to my local tech school for advice. An instructor there told me he could build the circuit on one board for under 20 bucks, and in like a half hour! but in that case i'd have to wait till june. I hope this helps someone else, i know it made me happy!
