Arcade Cabinet, Sound stays on ?
« on: October 19, 2007, 07:43:26 pm »
I have a Meta Fox standup arcade machine, and when I power it off, the sounds keeps playing. Odd.

Screen turns off just fine, everything else working a-ok.

any thoughts for a non-electrician type ?

I'd bet you can still "play" the game as well when you "turn it off".
Sounds to me like the game pcb power supply is not tied into the power switch.

I thought so too, however, if you click the power switch a few times, or wait awhile, it does eventually shut off completely.  :dunno

You may just have a bad switch then.

Is that the case, even tho the monitor powers off right away ?
