You've spent a hell of a lot of time telling people to STFU  in here
I'm sorry...who the "hell" are you?  And did I every say "STFU"?  Nope...people like you have portrayed me as doing so

who the "hell" are you?... OH!! got it....Hello Christian!! So how did you hack or persuade your way into Scott's account..... We've all seen this before, in almost exactly those words, directly from the BS Meister himself.

Quote
I know which one of those two my money is on
I'm sorry...looking through the old SS records when trying to acquire the company...I don't see you having ANY money vested...in anything!

That's interesting..... you went to the trouble of going through every record of somebody trading without a business licence did you. No doubt his other paperwork is in similar disarray to his ability to keep his business registered.

seen this before as well, in exactly those words, directly from Mr Stango himself. No he hasn't defrauded me personally out of anything, BUT he has allegedly defrauded personal friends of mine, and also allegedly defrauded one of my colleagues during the course of the last four years. So I most certainly DO have a vested interest.

His response on this forum when I pointed out that I hadn't bought anything from him given his miserable attitude to his customers and competitors on here was:

"Oh Please Fozzy buy something from us immediately or we'll really be in trouble  :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:"

Well Stango now you're really in trouble!  Must of course be my fault for not letting him rip me off the same way it seems that he's ripped countless others off. Including friends and colleagues of mine. Must of course be my fault, and not the fact that he appears to have failed to pay suppliers, seems to have told lies about the availability of parts, made excuses for, what on the face of it, would appear to be failure to deliver goods to customers that were waiting for months for goods, that then arrived with the wrong things fitted, or in one case reported on here, well over a year and a half, or not at all.

Up to now I've been nothing but polite to you Scott Mr MameRoom.... Your post count in this thread, telling people to shut up or else people won't get the goods they paid for, well exceeds my total post count in it. It's time you shut up yourself, and if you have any sense at all, disassociate yourself from, Christian, SickSlick, Stango. Before (as other people have also pointed out to you) It starts to seriously affect your business, when you're tarred with the same brush.

Regards,
Julian (Fozzy The Bear)

The only other alternative I can see is that we're actually reading Stango's typed words, voiced through your account identity  :dunno. but that looks very likely right now.

Fozzy ... you may have hit the nail on the head.

I just had a horrible feeling.

I hope I'm wrong, but ...

What if Christian bought Mameroom Designs LLC ??

Think about it :

** Orders placed with Mameroom, ship from SlikStik's address in Nutley, NJ.

** Another LLC business structure, which can be walked away from again, if things go pear-shaped again.

** A lot of pre-existing goodwill with Mameroom's reputation and standing ... the only way Christian could get that sort of goodwill, would be to buy a company that has already earned it.

** Christian is a smooth talker with a silver tongue ... are we hearing his words now, under the "Mameroom" moniker ??

** We've had that stuff posted by "Mameroom", about how Christian is starting up a NEW company, and is GUARANTEED to SUCCEED at his new company.

Are we witnessing Christian's new company ??

Does Mameroom (under new ownership) = Christian Stango ??

The words posted under the "Mameroom" moniker may be Christian's.

Or perhaps they're still Scott's words ... Christian may have given Scott a bucket-load of cash to buy Mameroom off him, but RETAINED him on the payroll as an EMPLOYEE.

As Christian's new employee, Scott would naturally be obligated to do Christian's bidding, and paint him in a favourable light in all communications.

Fozzy ... Good pick up.

Another indication that Christian's new company is Mameroom Designs LLC.

Would Christian really have provided a COMPLETE and PERMANENT copy of his customer order database, which is SlikStik's confidential intellectual property, to a potential suitor, who supposedly (according to the BS we were fed by the "Mameroom" user) had already "walked away" and declined to purchase SlikStik weeks ago ??

What, did Christian say to Scott, "Hell, keep a copy of the database, it's on the house" ??    ;D

And now we're expected to accept that "Scott" is just casually browsing through the SlikStik customer data in his "free time" over a few beers at night ??

C'mon !!!

Christian,

Whatever money you've paid Scott, to acquire Mameroom Designs LLC ...

No doubt part of what attracted you to purchase this company, is the goodwill and reputation that the company has built up over time.

Given you've paid good money for that goodwill, it would be a shame for you to squander its value, by trashing your new company's reputation overnight.

But then again, I guess it's always difficult for a leopard to change its spots.    :dizzy:

How does Stango providing product for Happ work? Happ orders a dozen panels, Stango takes the money, Happ asks where their products are, Stango blames Happ for not delivering any trackballs, Happ goes, "Frigging Happ!" and explodes in a ouroboros of non-logic.
IIRC, Happ was selling Tornado Spinners under license from SS.

Not only did Chris buy out Mameroom, he bought out happ controls, Wells gardner, Ultimarc, He even bought out BYOAC..He's trying to take over the Arcade industry single handedly!  First the gaming community...next the world.  Way too smart for me....

Wow, this got ugly in a hurry. I would recommend a cleanup, but in a twisted way it revealed some relevant info.

I think it is very relevant that instead of simply buying the slikstik line and mameroom manufacturing the panels themselves as originally stated, they are just providing Christian an outlet to sell his goods. The accusation that Christian bought out mameroom is humorous, but pretty silly. Why would he do that, when his "new business" is already obvious. Scott stated that he is offering a distribution point for Christian's custom panels. So yes, if you order a panel now from mameroom, you are not getting Scott's work, you are getting Christian's work with Scott's work as a backup guarantee "just in case Christian drops the ball".

However, it IS odd that Scott would have a complete copy of SlikStiks billing records. I get the feeling though that was a tongue in cheek comment that didn't come across right. That's what the wink icon is for Scott. ;)

I will say this: Just like Foley, this hobby would be better off without Christian.'nuff said on that.

This thread is doing real damage to people's lives and livelihoods. Why dont you all just give it a rest? Christian supplied the control pads for SlikStik....THE COMPANY. Due to mismanagement, some problems with Happ, bad decisions, whatever...SlikStik THE COMPANY went under...filed chapter 7. Christian decided to try and take over the name and business from SlikStik. He made arrangements with several customers that got stuck after the bankruptcy to make good on their deals. HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS....AND it is between HIM and the customers who have an issue.

Scott is BUYING the control pads from Christian (who is still selling the control pads because it is his design and he is trying to keep himself in business)

These are PEOPLE you guys are trashing...and you are really doing a disservice to everyone. These are good people who are trying to do the right thing by everyone. I don't know anyone from SlikStik, so I cant say if they were evil or not. However, Christian DOES NOT have to honor anything SlikStik said, but he is.

Give these guys a break. Enough already.

I tend to think the people who spent money and didn't get any communication or control panels are good people too. Perhaps you think it's ok for a person to accept money for a product and not deliver the product, most of us do not and are rightfully outraged.

Don't see the connection between Christian and Slikstik? Just do some readings of his posts on this board. After reading his posts, I'd like to see you come back with that same attitude.

While I understand its odd when someone registers and posts the same day on a hot topic, I think we need to give newer members the benefit of the doubt.  Remember, there are a lot of people who read the boards who don't register.  Maybe he/she just got fed up with some stuff and wanted to express an opinion.

He seems to be saying pretty much the same things that Mameroom has been saying. His post doesn't come off as an impartial observer that has just stumbled across this thread at all.

- Christian is, or is planning to, fulfill orders OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET™

- Christian, inexplicably, should be exonerated for this "generosity", despite the fact that it is a long-overdue obligation of his—if not a legal obligation (due to potential "LLC" loopholes), then definitely an ethical obligation

- Christian is a delicate flower, and if posters here are "mean" to him, he's taking his toys and going home

Do I have the Mameroom/Christian/SlikStik/Mega24/whatever mantra about right?

Mega24 seems to have a very good handle on what is going on, so perhaps he is one of the other employee's of SlickStick.

Perhaps Mega24 was the SlikStik Tea Lady ??    :dunno

SlikStik THE COMPANY went under

Companies are run by people.

Where did the money go, for those customers who've coughed up their cash, and received nothing in return ??

Who controlled the purse strings ??

The people who run the company, are the ones who spend the money, or otherwise "siphon it off" into their own personal accounts.  Of course, they can siphon off the money under the guise of "wages", after all, they're "employees" of the company, right ?? ... they can pay themselves whatever wage they want, and live the "high life" off other people's funds.

The money could potentially have ended up anywhere.

Hypothetically speaking, the SlikStik founder could be riding around on a nice new Harley, funded with the money received for unfulfilled CP orders.  All legitimate & above board, of course ... he was entitled, as an "employee" of SlikStik, to pay himself his "wages".   ;)

He made arrangements with several customers that got stuck after the bankruptcy to make good on their deals. HE DID NOT HAVE TO DO THIS.

He knows how to watch out for his own hide.

The heat is on, probably a lot more so than he expected.  The authorities are investigating SlikStik and the people behind it.

In light of this, better to be seen to be "doing what he can" to make amends for this mess.

I really really *really* was trying to stay out of this thread other than to watch it for rules violations and civility(?)... I have to jump in with one point though because it comes up time and time again on threads that get contentious.

Right now, there are 48 guests and 56 users on the forum. At a very unscientific rough guess from that, we probably have about 50% lurkers on the forum who have been here for an unknown length of time. At some point, something will motivate them to respond and they register.

I don't know who Mega24 is and don't care one way or another (not a negative, you're very welcome here, it's just not pertinent to my point). My point is that when someone newly registered makes a first post in a contentious thread, if they take the popular side no one notices. If they take a position that gets someone's goat up, they get called a phony. It may or may not be true but as a rule of thumb I give them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

My 2 bits and off my soapbox now.

If Chris was speaking thier would prob be a lot more anger flying around this second.
I can't believe you guys, Chris hacked Scotts account, Mega24 is Chris, I'm Chris's nephew. LOL you guys need to grow up.

Scott, You have got a big set of --you know what -- to post your opinion and be ridiculed by some of these people. I got PM's as well telling me to shut up and tone down? So why should we shut up, but you guys have all the freedom to spread whatever nonsense around you please? Personally I would like to thank you for expressing your concerns here, as well as get some of these fools off my back.

Scott if you like to voice your opinion please do. Yes you will slammed about some things as you can already tell, but I don't think these people know that if you speak or not, its not going to effect your company.

nice, sounds like this thread and his newly found legal battles have put a fire under his ass to do what's right...

makes you wonder why mameroom wants to let this thread die if this thread is getting people their panels....

Oh No, watch out with the language. Seriously do you people understand, your legal disputes are with SS not Christian. You may be fooled to think its with Chris, but you are following the wrong path.

As you can see from the last week Chris is making good, thats what about 4 panels out the door since.

Christian, MameRoom & MameMarquees keep up the great work :) and don't let these people suck you in to the flamewar. Your time is much needed in other departments then dealing with some people here.

4 out the door  :notworthy:, but how many orders and how much money has he received while getting these 4 out?

Are you just flat out igronant or dumb? Chris does not have SS's money.
If you knew anything that was going on, Chris has made nothing the past few weeks, only pulling money out his pocket to get things back up and running.

LOL I think I've already been called it all in this thread.
But you just don't seem to grasp that Chris DOES NOT have SS money
If he did, wouldn't you think these "high profile" cases would have been out weeks ago?

I think it's funny that you think SS and Christian are separate. You really think Christian is building panels with his own money?

I guess EVERYONE's a victim.

I feel sorry for you, and all the scams your going to fall for.

You really crack me up. I order something from a website. After some delays and aggrivation, I get my stuff. So that makes me get scammed. Dude you don't even know a damn thing about me, other then the what is in this thread, so your assumptions mean nothing.

Seriously bro...I have some beachfront property here in Idaho...fronts up to the Indian ocean and everything....did  I mention that Paris Hilton owns the lot next door and frequently sunbathes nude?

You can have it for $199.95 per acre!  WHAT A BARGAIN!

Cool - when did this happen and how did I miss the announcement post - How'd it come out?
