Good luck finding one.  They're hard to find now. :(

I am curious about the I-40 Aux I/O adapter board too, as mame will need to know how they work before 49-way joystick support can be added to the games that used them.

And why the heck did the midway sports games need them but the atari 49-way games not? ??? Grrrr.

Sorry not much help.  All I can say is googling for them is like looking for a needle in  haystack, and happs, the company that bought midway's arcade parts and service division, doesn't seem to sell it online. :(

edit: Maybe happs does sell it.  Search for part # 04-12652.  ~$18.  :dunno

the aux out adaptor board from what I found out is nothing more than a wire bridge board, there is nothing circuitry on this board, a 20 ribbon cable connects this to the main board, then it goes to a 15 pin connections, and only 6 of the 15 are used to go to the i-40 board.  What I need to know is what wires from the ribbon cable is used, if someone has a blitz they could take a picture of this and post in on line....  Then you could really make your own.

Umm, pkurz, are there two or three of you?  Or is someone else also using your login?  You posts confuse me, but it could just me me. :dizzy:

Thanks for the info.  I had thought it had a chip and timing crystal on it?  I'd like to see how to make your own, too.

Is that part number I posted the correct one?  I might get one just to check it out.

I don't have a cab, but in the manuals it's a small board off to the side of the main PCB.
