Just bought a monitor - too big??

Hi guys - 1st post for me wohoo ....

I have been a lurker on these forums for a while and I'd like to say - you guys churn out some excellant arcade machines.

Anyhow - I just picked up a 33inch Vivitar monitor from ebay very cheap.  Did not appreciate how big this puppy was going to be (until I saw it with my eyes and had to get a neighbour to help me out the car with it!)

My question is - do you think a 33inch monitor is a bit too large for an arcade machine (would make the machine very wide .....) or just abour right.  If I was to use it I am a bit scared to de-case it as I don't want to get a shock from the caps - and its in a big old plastic case.

it will be a very large cab,i have cabs with 32" monitors but they are dedicated machines in an arcade not a nice little cab in someones house
i think the best size tubes are 25" and 29" for a standard cab

For a standard upright cabinet I think that would be too large.  You could build/buy a showcase cabinet like this one.  There are also some plans for a showcase cabinet on http://www.jakobud.com/

I may take it into work to use as multi media display and get a 24-26" old tv to use as a display.  Better crawl before I walk.
Thanks
