There are tons of choices around for about £350. However, I saw a pretty decent one at PC World a few weeks ago for £280. PC World aren't usually the cheapest so £250 might just be achievable.

Does the UK have some equivalent to a day after Thanksgiving sale that is here in the US?
That is usually the best time to buy a laptop here.

What is the spec? I need to get one as a Crimbo present for my Dad.

Any details welcome.

Cheers Langdoguk,

Taking a look right now. Pretty decent spec from what I can see.

Look for internet, the odd letter and a bit of photo editing and storage.

Thanks
