Trouble with viewing snaps for VP tables in Mala???? *Fixed*

Hi Guys,
              I recently downloaded the VP table snaps and have them in the VP snap folder. I have pointed to them in Mala and are using Shock's cool applesque layout. I am using the same layout for mame and the snaps show up fine. So in Mala under "Other Emu", "Visual Pinball"  I have pointed the snap file to where the the snaps are but they are not showing in the larger of the 2 boxes. Any Ideas?? I actually pointed all the marquee, cabinet and everythng to the snap folder just to see if that would work but still nothing. Could it be a setting in the actual layout?
Any help would be muchly appreciated.

Are you sure the file names of the snaps are exactly the same as the VPT files in the tables subfolder?

Thanks SGT, that was partly the problem, even when I changed the picture name to reflect the table name it still didn't come up, The pictures are jpg's but I found if I opened up the picture and 'saved as' then changed the format to JPEG they would come up. This was done in the basic XP picture viewer, and even though it ended up with the same jpg file extension for some reason it made the difference! Weird stuff. Thanks again for your help.

That reminds me of a similiar incident I had with SNES snaps the other day.  These were PNG files.  Mala would crash on about 10% of them.  I had to open the ones giving me trouble in another program and then resave them before Mala wouldn't crash.  I have no idea what that's about.
