Issues with MiniPAC
« on: October 07, 2007, 01:31:13 pm »
Hey guys,

I am having some troubles with a MiniPAC I have in my cab. I recently remapped some of the control inputs and reprogrammed the board. It worked great. I powered down the cabinet and turned in for the night. The next day, I fired it up for some gaming and as soon as I hit the joystick, the entire box froze. I have to hard boot the machine to get it to respond again.

Everything seems fine until I hit an input that goes throug the MiniPAC. I opened up the program utility to restore defaults and reprogram the device thinking that might clear it up...everytime I do so it says "TimeOut" during the program process....I can't get any further than that....

Any ideas?

I should be able to help with this via email: andy@ultimarc.com. First thing to do is check the self-test LED. This indicates error conditions, can you let me know and I'll try to help.
