FS/FT: 52" Bigscreen RPTV Cabinet
« on: October 03, 2007, 09:58:05 am »
Got a 52" bigscreen cabinet I need to get rid of. Long story short, the tubes assembly went out and was sent off for repair, where the guy promptly closed up shop and disappeared.  Anywho, don't need this thing anymore, might make an interesting project if someone has some internals they want to transplant or want to use it for replacement parts (what little there are) for another type of projection system. Shoot, you could use the rear screen projection material to make one of those changing marquees thingys or something.
At any rate, I'd just be happy if someone took it off my hands.

It still has: remote, rear projection screen, mirror, speakers, front control panel, lots of screws, wiring harness (just drop in the tube assembly and it would work again)

The screen has a scratch across the top. Wasn't very visible when the TV was working. It would make a good outdoor screen for movie night by the pool or something, just pop the back off and put your projector behind it.

$25 or trade (I could really use a Mario Bros control panel for the DK conversion, but a marquee or bezel in good shape would be just as good).
Pickup in Oklahoma City. I won't mess with shipping, but if someone can arrange for a truck to show up at my house, I'd be willing to load it.
