PC Sound -> J-Pac audio -- any tips?

I have a nice little Neo Geo cab that I hooked up to a spare PC via a J-Pac, and am using as a generic MAME cabinet. 

I'd like to use the existing speakers in the cabinet (they work fine when the JAMMA harness is connected to the NeoGeo board), and am wondering how to hook up the audio out from the PC to the speakers.

I know I have a couple of options -- wire the audio-out from the PC to the J-Pac, or wire the computer directly to the speakers, bypassing the J-Pac.

I'm going for the former, to try to keep the PC outputs unified to the Jamma connector.  However, I have a couple of questions:

1. What's an easy way to go from 1/8" stereo mini jack (PC) to the + - screw-down terminals on the J-Pac?  Any tips on buying or building a cable to do this?
2. Should I use a Line-out (low-level) or Headphone (amplified/high-level) output on the PC side?

Cut the end off a 1/8 to 1/8 stereo cable and you will be able to strip the leads.  The center conductor on each is spkr - and + and the ground will have to be connected to a ground since neogeo is stereo and true jamma is not.  You can try to use the headphone out if it is amplified.  Typically it is not amplified enough to drive 4 or 8 ohm speakers and you will probably still need a stereo amp.   If this is the case it is easier to go around the jamma then thru the connector.

Remember the neogeo has a stereo amp on board that your are removing when you do not have the card.

He could do that, or he could get a 1/8" jack with solder terminals.  That's what I did, and it worked a treat.
