SK Jukebox
« on: September 24, 2007, 07:30:47 pm »

I was disappointed to see the message on the wiki that SK Jukebox has been discontinued by SalmonKing. I always said that if I ever finished my jukebox, that was the software I wanted to use. It did exactly what I needed: no more, no less. Unfortunately I didn't keep a copy around when I was testing different types of jukebox software so I don't have a copy. Does anybody have a copy they can send me.

Also, I would hope that SalmonKing will change his mind and redistribute SK Jukebox or at the least pass the source along so that someone can continue that great work he started. I would be happy to help maintain it is needed.

hello,

in the skjukebox forum, there's many link to previous version of the software.

Here's one which has both ver 3 and 4.

As for the source code, a lot of people would like to see it release, but I don't think this will happen.
skjukebox is definitively a nice piece of software...

Jay

Thanks for the link. I've updated the wiki to reflect the mirror. Maybe saint can update the list at the top of the forum?

there are two other mirrors as well:

http://www.spacefractal.com/SkJukebox/   (by now skjukebox does NOT work, need to spelling SkJukebox, looking on that issue soon)
http://www.skjukebox.info

I have also planing on inport most of typical features from SkJukebox to MultiJuke, but I guess it would been respectless or such. Hince I added a poll about it in SkJukebox forum. I might only release that SkJukebox Clone as Linux only feature (like Wahcade was for Mamewah).
Decade Old Work: MultiFE, ArcadeMusicBox
Today Works: Various Spectrum Next games from Rusty Pixels and html5 games.
