Itty bitty keyboards?
« on: May 01, 2003, 09:29:30 am »
I would really like to have an itty-bitty keyyboard on my panel for those PC games that require it.  What I'd really like is a thumbboard or a mini keyboard designed for a Palm Pilot, but with a USB interface that works with a PC.  Does anyone know of such a thing?

Try this place....

USB Keyboard 10" x 4.7".  Not as thin as the Palm keyboards but still pretty small.

Thanks!

Their "Happy Hacking" model is slightly larger, but looks like it may be easier to mount...

I've enjoyed using the Virtually Indestructable Keyboard mini (the GTX-500 at the bottom of the page).  It just rolls up out of the way when I don't need it.  I keep it in my coin bucket.

I got mine at MicroCenter when it was only $29.

I was looking at this at microcenter.  It's pretty cool.  I don't think I could touch type on it, but it'd work well.

I got mine from http://dsi-usa.com/. You can see their models under the 'Compact' section. I got the ACK595U. It's USB, pretty small, really thin, and was relatively cheap. You can see a somewhat okay pic of mine here.

Dont forget to consider getting one of those cool all in one RF wireless ones that people where talking about a few weeks ago... with the handle.  they look sweet, and you don't have to have a cord.... just set them next to your cabinet or across the room when you aren't using it..

(but only do RF)
