What I did for my multi millipede was just added a piece of wood to the top to make a box and then took the brackets off a centipede and it works and looks good.

Thanks for the quick reply! I actually told him to do that, but he didn't like the "centipede" look. Says he wants to do a restoration, and be pretty close to original (at least visually) that it can.
What I'm thinking of doing is taking 2 boards, and angle cutting them together, then using a jigsaw and router to cut and step the hole for some lexan, then recover it. I was hoping for some measurements though. Like I said - I'm "helping" him with this, so if he wants it original, id like to stay with that.
