Leaf Switch buttons

Hi guys, I currently have microswitches but am wanting to swop them over to leaf switches will it be a matter of buying replacements and swopping over or are there big diferences between the two types? and can you guy suggest a good place to buy the switches I didnt see any on Happs site or ebay.

Iv found this site and was wondering if iv got it right I put all the bits I think i need, having only used micro switches are these thing relatively easy to install and connect to an encoder?

You email him your order and he sends you a total.  Then mail him a check.  Yes, its a little low tech for the times but he's a great guy and VERY fast and reliable.  Plus the prices are the lowest.
(keep in mind you need a slightly larger hole for leaf buttons.  1 5/32 is perfect but 1 3/16 will work too.)

It's been my experience that they are basically interchangeable. Hole size is actually slightly larger for the Happs buttons. The switch only needs to make a connection for the encoder to read the button press. The rest is handled by the encoder. However, the leaf switch holders do take up a little more room under the panel. Not a big deal really.

If you want to give leaf switches a try and not spend so much cash...
I've got a box of used ones I was looking to get rid of cheep.
