Multi-game boards available?
« on: September 12, 2007, 01:46:21 pm »
I've been searching the database here and on the KLOV messageboards looking fo different "multi" game jamma boards. I've seen the programable one, which supports both horizontal and vertical games, but I was wondering if there are any available which might support more horizontal games?

So far, I've heard rumors of multiboards that have games such as Raiden, Street Fighter 2, and other such "newer" games. IS this true, or are these simply rumors. I'll admit that after almost a month of searching, I've become a bit disheartened. ^_^

Thanks much! I wonder if those horizontal boards are still available. ^_^

170-in-1 and 1066-in-1 boards both support horizontal "fighter" games.   Both are also simply MAME emulators in a nice package.  The 170-in-1 uses standard switcher power and has a CF card that it stores all the ROMS on while the 1066-in-1 uses a Hard Drive to store its ROMS and requires a standard ATX PC power supply in addition to a switcher...

saint's note. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Personally,  I have no experience with the 170-in-1,  but the 1066-in-1 is nifty...but still MAME.
