Does the sega dreamcast have to be in copmposite sync only or can H & V be seperated still?

also since the dreamcast was made for compossite where H&V are together but if they can be seperated would the display results still be the same and would the light guns still work like normal?

also was wondering if I had one console on composite sync and another on H & V sepaerated would the screen display scroll roll or flip when I switched between the two and have to adjust the screen each time?

or once the H & V are set right I could swap from either and have a still correct display?

No, swapping H & V syncs on any input will NOT flip/rotate/change the picture orientation.
