What is a good price to charge someone

For switching out a monitor from one of their other games into a different game, and then adding a 2 in 1 jamma adapter?  What would be a fair price. I was thinking along the lines of $100  I mean it should take about an hour to switch them out and install the jamma adapter.

I'd do it for free, but if you do want to charge, I'd go with $50.

Well He called me, and has a good bit of other stuff that needs to be done, and he said that he really isn't worried about the price.

Figure out a per hour charge that's reasonable. If you do a flat fee, chances are you'll either not get enough because there was more work than you thought, or there won't be much work and the customer will feel they paid too much. If you come up with a per hour fee, the customer knows what they can expect to pay, and can tell you whether you can work until you're done, or just work for an hour or two so they can save some cash.

Depending on your local market conditions, go with an hourly rate of between $20 to $50 an hour.
