Mk in street fighter 2 cab problems
« on: September 08, 2007, 11:30:05 pm »
I bought the cab to put the MK1 in, and I get it home, and MK will not work, the other Jamma games that I have do, but MK does not, I tested it in the jamma multicade that I wired up and it works fine, it just does not work in the Street Fighter 2 cab. Does anybody have an idea as to why this is?

You may need to hookup the -5 or +5 on the power supply that the SF2 cab might not have wired into the jamma harness already. You should do some reading on both boards and see if that's the problem before you actually do this, or look at both cabs power supplies and check for what's connected and going to each harness.

MK needs -5v but the standrad SF does not have it.    Wire up the -5V on the jamma harness if you have it available in the sf cab.

Yeah that was it, for some reason the -5 goes to like a pin in the center of the jamma adapter.   I'll just rewire it up tomorrow.  Thanks.
