FS My arcade cabinet for local pickup Dallas/Ft. Worth
« on: September 02, 2007, 10:03:06 am »
Bottom line is this.  I had more fun building my arcade cabinet than I do playing it.  I am trying to sell it as one unit.  I got the cabinet originally with the Knights of the Round game in it.  Here is what you get:

Dynamo arcade cabinet
Knights of the Round board and cp that I originally got with the cabinet
3 working coin mechs although the lights don't seem to work (they are not hooked up but they worked when I got it)
Full size arcade monitor (25 in I believe) and power supply
Working speaker than came with the cabinet

The computer:
ECS motherboard with a processor I don't remember, I believe it is somewhere in the 1.8ghz range
512 mb ram
Arcade VGA card
(No hard drive is included)

The cp has a happ 2 and 1/4 trackball
2 happ joysticks (i forget which ones I bought)
All happ pushbuttons

As a bonus I am throwing in a big box of random arcade parts such as an extra jamma harness, lots of pushbuttons, and extra joysticks.

If I left anything out or said something wrong I'm sorry, I have been out of the arcade scene for about a year.

I am looking for $600 $500 for everything.  This can be local pickup only.  There are over $800 worth of parts on this cabinet but I need to get rid of it.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks!

Nice deal.

Can you post more pics?  There are lots of people on this forum reasonably close to you.

Maybe you should hold onto this until October, take it the SuperAuction in Mesquite, and sell it for $3k.  Seems like everyone throws a blind eye to selling MAME over there.

From my experience, the only MAME cabinets people are getting away with these days are the ones running 48 in 1, 96 in 1, etc boards.  If they've gotta boot up Windows and then go into a front end, they aren't doing so hot.

Dunno.. I definitely saw some keyboards fly out of those cabs for configuration of mame inputs on various games.. plus one dude was going off about how it had a jukebox as well, which isn't a multigame board.  All I'm saying is there's some questionable sales going on at these auctions.

Well I don't really have any at the moment.  My fiance is the one with the digital camera.  If anyone is interested i can work on getting more, especially of the random box stuff.

Gonna bring this up again to see if anyone else might be interested.  I still have it available, very good deal for all the parts!

I just got married and we need furniture!

Good deal. You may want to post it on Craigslist or you can take to Superauctions this weekend in Mesquite.

Last time I will bring this up.  I still have this sitting in my grandmother's garage.  I will sell it all for $500.
