CPS III Files - Long Download
« on: August 30, 2007, 11:15:56 am »
Okay all you software gurus...

Do I need to sit through the entire download every time I start a CPS III (ex: SFIII) game?  It took like 15 minutes to load and I only played the thing for about 1/2 an hour.

Anyway I can prevent the download in the future?

Thanks

Zeno

there is supposed to be a way to avoid the "writing a new disc" thing. It ran the first time I played SF3:3rd strike but that was it. I usually start the CPS3 game then go make a sammich or something.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

It only need to write it once.  And once it has been written to the nvram file, it never need to be loaded again.  Only thing I can think of is somehow your nvram files is not getting read correctly or it got corrupted.  The other method is using the nocd version.  And please don't ask where to get it, it's out there somewhere.....  With the nocd, it bypass the chd files entirely and load straight away.
