Trouble disconnecting JPAC from Jamma connector
« on: August 27, 2007, 09:12:49 pm »
I hooked up my JPAC to test it while I wait on a new MOBO for my MAME donor box.  Got it partially working wanted to hook back up the JAMMA to the cartridge so I can play SF3, but I can not for the life of me get the thing to disconnect.  I tried pushing on the white gate looking thing on the connection and pulling but I couldn't get that to go.   Is that the trick or do I just need to keep trying?  Any suggestions?

Should just pull out.  Only thing holding it in is friction.

I thought that might be the case, Its a real pain to get any sort of grip on that thing.  I wish it came in some sort of a case instead of just a loose circuit board! haha, Oh well, i'll manage to get it off

Use a large flat-head screwdriver and carefully prise it up at the edges.
