Laptops for trade
« on: April 28, 2003, 05:35:36 pm »
I have 2 compaq presario laptops

1 is a 1247 the other is a 1245

they are amd 300 or 333mhz 96megs ram 3 and 4 gig hdd's built in cdrom drives.  Screens have slight fading around edges but are very usable.  I don't really want to sell them but I will if need be.  I would prefer to trade them.

I will load whatever OS you like and any software that I have is yours.  Possibly looking for:

19"+ arcade monitor
Steering controls
Spinners
Flight sticks/throttles
or anything you would like to offer.

Pm me here my email is down.

WIll you take a nearly NOS 19" arcade monitor for one of them?

I still have the (ULTRA CLEAN, unburned) 19" that I pulled from my Artic Mini. The machine only had 700 plays on it, and had been stored since it was only a month old or so.

I will need to cap the chassis before I send it out though, as I guess the caps all dried out from it sitting unused for 23 years.

If it doesn't come out looking like a new monitor, then I would even think of sending it to you.

Most game monitors were made in the early 80s. This one sat in storage forever. It was so clean I could have licked it.

I am in St. Louis, and I would ship it, provided you are in the continental US.

If you are interested, then I can get to work on that cap kit.
