FS - Zaxxon machine
« on: August 19, 2007, 04:19:09 pm »
Sorry, I know this is in the wrong forum, but I don't have enough time to get over newbie status on the trading forum, as my mom is running out of time on the storage space fees.

Anyhow, I had bought a Zaxxon arcade cabinet from a thrift store a while back, as I thought it'd be cool to own an arcade machine. Unfortunately, my dad wouldn't let me keep it in his house and my mom was moving away at the time. Now that she had bought a new house, I was gonna put it in there, but seeing as we couldn't even get the sofa in the house (steep driveway, lots of stairs, and narrow space in the house), there's no way I'll be able to keep it anymore.

Is there anyone in the San Bernadino area that is interested in picking it up? $20 would be nice, but if noone wants it at that price, then I'll just give it out for free. Unfortunately, I never did get a chance to play it so I'm not sure if it works or not. It appears to be complete though. The artwork seems to be decent, but the woodwork is kinda messy. Nevertheless, I would rather this go to a good home than get scrapped.

I'm not in the area and I don't have the room, but I just wanted to commend Peale for moving this, I like the post minimum for BST, but for a post like this what's the harm right?

I hope the cabinet finds a good home and that Bonemaster will one day have a cab he can keep.

I would take it in a heart beat if I was like 2000 miles closer.  Zaxxon was one of my favorite games as a kid.  I hop e you can find it a good home.

If you can't find a taker, I'd be willing to pay you for some parts off of it for my Zaxxon cabinet. Mainly looking for the marquee, marquee glass and support bracket.
If you were closer, I'd take the cabinet myself  :-\
