FS/FT: Several arcade boards & a few manuals
« on: August 19, 2007, 02:18:44 pm »
Ok, I had this stuff up a couple years ago, sold some (which I took off this post), but packed away this stuff to try to sell at a later date.  I would MUCH rather trade stuff for the things I still need for my showcase cab.   I could use a better spinner (one of the commercial types, non-mouse hacked, Turbotwist 2, etc).  Small 40w or so 2 channel car amp would be good as well (need something for sound, and I figure this would work pretty well).  Also looking for a Stargate CPO for my new cabinet.  I'm much more interested in trading than cash at this point, seems to work out better, and I have no idea what the monetary value of this stuff is.  I also may add to this as I dig out more stuff, never know what I'll find :).   All prices are 'Or Best Offer', except the manual prices, so if I'm out of line, feel free to make an offer :).

What I have:

Bally / Sente SAC Motherboard (Board only, no sound board or cartridges).  This was working when pulled, but it's been in the warehouse for a couple years.  30.00 shipped takes it.

1x  Cherry Master poker board, edge connector (I hacked the wires off the cable long ago, but you can resolder and be in good shape), and several of the required buttons. I think I'm missing some of the bulb holders for these, and no bulbs seem to be include, I'll make sure though.  I'm not 100% sure, but if I remember right this was supposed to be a Pot 'o Gold board, but I can't say that for sure.  ** Looks like it's most likely a regular Cherry Master board, but can be upgraded to a poker machine with chips from 8liners for about 40 bucks.  I'm going to set this at 50.00 for the board, buttons & connector.  You'll need the smaller connector for the power connections, and one bulb/switch holder for the buttons.  SOLD

2x Atari Regulator/Audio 2 boards, not sure what they came out of (Tempest?)  Has connections at both end of the boards, and both ends of boards are fully populated.  15 each, or both 25 shipped

1x Atari Regulator/Audio 2 board, no parts on one side.  Not sure what it came out of at all, only has 3 connection points, instead of the 5 on the boards above.    12.50 shipped, or with the 2 above for 35 shipped.

1x RGB Convertor board (labeled a DY-I-O, other markings 85X0311 P600.  I think this was to convert a Composite signal to a arcade monitor signal, has a BNC connector on one end, and a arcade monitor output on the other).  This appears to be new, and I believe we bought it to convert an arcade machine to a Mame machine, but it never got off the ground.  $50.00 shipped

There is one other board I have no idea what it is, build by Sun Electronics Corp, labeled a TVG-1-CPU-B & TVG-1-VIDEO-B.  Don't know what it came out of.  Condition looks excellent though.  Back then it was suggested that this was a Kangaroo board, but I have no clue.  25 shipped (it's fairly heavy)

I also have a NOS Wico balltop leaf-switch joystick, looks to be 8-way.  Short shaft (metal CPO?). SOLD

Manuals:

Mortal Kombat 1 Kit manuals (with some misc stuff in the packet) SOLD
Centipede Signature Analysis Guide, Operation Maint & Service manual, And both drawing sheets (schemetics) (I THINK this is the full booklet set for this game, seems to be complete)  15.00 shipped
Black Knight Pinball instruction Booklet  6.00 shipped
Bally/Midway's MCR System Games Standardized General Instructions (also has many monitor schemetics in it) 15.00 shipped (fairly large, heavy book, spiral bound)
Golden Tee '97 Install manual. 6.00 shipped

What I'm looking for:

2x 49-way Joysticks OR 2 Ultrastik 360's
1x GPWiz USB interface (eco version would work fine)
1x GPWiz49 controller (for above sticks if you have 'em)
1x Spinner, preferrably a commercial-type.  I have a mouse-hacked one now, and while it works fine, I'd rather have a commercial to hook to a optical interface board I have here.
1x Stargate CPO, repro is fine.
1x Stargate soundboard.
1x Good condition Williams coin door, complete with mechs.  (Someone epoxied the right coin slot on mine, the coin return won't depress, and the coin slot is plugged).

If anybody out there close to me has a good condition Time Pilot machine, boards or no boards, let me know.  I have a couple TP & a TP84 board I'd like a better home for (the cab they are in now is definitely NOT the best of shape).

Put a pic of the Cherry Master board.  I may be interested in that.  I think I have some 49-ways still...

Ok, here's the Cherry Master board.  We bought it from 8liners.com if I remember right, and I believe it was somewhere between 150-200 when we bought it.  Was going to make a machine for a friend who was a Cherry Master addict, but he never could come up with a cab or anything else for it, so I just kept the board.

The other boards and the Wico  (I also found another Wico, but it's definitely not in as good a shape as this one, the base looks fine, some wires are soldered to the leaves, but the ball shaft is rusted, I'm sure it could be cleaned up though, so add it to the list of stuff :).

I'm going to try tonight to reconnect enough wires to the Cherry Master board to connect it to my Stargate monitor, and see exactly what version it is.  Might help a bit in peoples decisions to buy or not, especially since I don't know exactly what the board is.

(Sorry, didn't mean to leave you hanging about that thing).  Yeah, let me know what game it is.  That board looks like a Cherry 96.  I already have 4 of those, so one more wouldn't do me any good.  I would be interested still if it is something I don't have.
