Horizontal, or on top - It's for the wife!
« on: August 17, 2007, 05:29:51 pm »
Sorry if I confused with the subject title,

I'm building a Mini Galaga / PacMan cab, and I really want it to be accessible to the most amount of ROMs possible.

Have any of you guys that have built a Mini cab found a happy medium?

I love Galaga, PacMan etc, but I also love T&F!

I would like to mount a monitor horizontally, but whats the biggest size monitor I should aim for?

Any advice would be much appreciated, as it would for my wife...  :-\

I put a 19" LCD monitor in mine.  There was no way to fit a 19" CRT in the smaller cabinet (mounted horizontally) and I didn't want to sacrifice screen size.  I decided to make a vertical cab because most of the "classics" are vertical.  The few games I really want to play that are horizontal I'll just suffer with the black bars.
