pinball flipper button measurement
« on: August 07, 2007, 06:53:59 pm »
Okay, I'm finally drilling some holes for all these components!  One measurement I can't seem to find is flipper button locations.  I know this probably isn't a set in stone standard, but I'm wondering if anyone has any measurements on how far from the front and top of the pinball machine the center of the flipper button is.  I'm putting lockdown bar corners on the corners of the cabinet, so I'm hoping to nail the location of the button, too.

Thanks,
Will

I placed mine fairly close to the top after testing how I would
grip the box and play normally... my fingers just don't extend down
that far and I wanted to be able to rest my palms on the top while
I play.

Placed them as close to the front as possible for the same reasons...
just had to leave enough space to comfortably hand-tighten the
button nut.

Yeah, maybe going by feel is the best way to figure it out.
