When I install my video card the monitor goes blank - help!
« on: August 06, 2007, 11:57:04 am »
OK, I think I know what the problem is - my video card only has a DVI output and when the card is installed it defaults to this instead of the VGA connection on the motherboard that I have been using.  I think a DVI-VGA converter would do the trick but I'm wondering if there is a way to install the video card but still use the VGA connector off the motherboard.  Any help would be great.  Thanks!
