Does Ipac do diagonals?
« on: August 04, 2007, 04:21:43 pm »
This is probably a super silly question. But I noticed on the Ipac it has inputs for - up, down, left, right.

If I use an 8 way controller (Happ Super) with the Ipac, does it recognize the diagonls?

A joystick only has 4 switches (Up, Down, Left, Right).   When the stick is pointed into the diagonal, then two switches will be activated at one time.  The IPAC handles all of this for you, so you only need to map for switches per joystick.

Hope this made sense.

Just in case it didn't, the answer is YES!  ;)
