Wiring admin buttons on a IPAC using shift
« on: August 02, 2007, 05:35:27 pm »
I have an IPAC4, and was wondering how you guys out there wired up your admin buttons, and if anyone used shifted buttons?

I've been reading up on how the IPACs shift function works, and I was wondering if wiring a single button to both the shift and the shift modified plug on my IPAC would work or not... being that in documention the shift button needs to be pressed first and held... while the second button is pressed then the shift is released.... does it matter in actual practice?

(Basically how the keywiz has a SHAZAAM connector... can I do that with just normal wire on an IPAC )

Sorry if the answer is out here somewhere... I tried searching and getting as much info as I could before posting a question
