Sega LCD "DJ" screen uses or hacks?
« on: August 02, 2007, 12:20:17 pm »
Has anyone figured out a use or how to hack one of the little music selection ("DJ") Lcd screens on Sega's driving games such as Outrunners, etc?
I would love to use one of the screens and the buttons on my outrunners cab and have it interface to an MP3 player on a PC so you could see song names and change songs while playing the machine.
Has anyone attempted this or something similar? I'd hate to see the little screen go unused.

Thanks as usual.

Here's a picture of the control panel so you can see the screen I'm refering to.

Thanks

That might work with the Mala Serial Display plugin?
