The never ending Project Thread
« on: August 02, 2007, 10:07:05 am »
Just wanted to see if anyone else had as many project on their to-do list as I did.  Seems like everytime I come on this site I find another project to add to the list.  Anyway here is my list of projects.

1. Finish Basement
2. Build workbench in Garage
3. Fix arcade cabinet in Garage
4. Update old Mame Cabinet
5. Build Jukebox
6. Build Poker table
7. Build Bar for Basement
8. Build a bartop for Bar in Basement

As you can see most of mine revolve around me getting my basement finished.  This winter I am hoping to get the basement at least started if not finished.

Interested in seeing what everyone else has on their list of things they would like to get done.

I have a never ending project list, but most of it has to do with home stuff.  Every time I knock something off the list, four more things go on.  Hence, I never complete my cabinet and don't even bother adding arcade-related projects to the list.

My list also revolves around finishing my basement. A very large and expensive job. Right now I'm looking at $4,500 to get an escape window put into the basement. That cost is holding up everything at the moment. Maybe in the fall.

The list:

- build shed
- finish basement
-assemble MAME cabinet I made 2 years ago that still is in pieces :banghead:
- Home Theater
- paint living room and family room
- restore the Robotron cab I just picked up
- put gutters on the house

the list goes on and on...

My wife does a good job of keeping it updated and current! Nothing like having a nice long list starring you in the face everytime you go to open up the fridge!

I need to finish painting a bookcase I built and then I'm all cleared for the next arcade project... well, that's if my wife forgot about the window seat I promised to build.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one with a wife that makes sure my list is up to date with the latest projects for our house.  Some how or another my arcade and game related projects all get pushed to the very end or most of the time are not even allowed on the list.

The biggest one that I keep trying to push out is the painting of the inside of our house.  Not a big fan of painting and too cheap to pay someone else to do it.

Oh well it is always fun to see that everyone else is in the same boat as I am.
