Wanted: Cabinet (to be MAME'd) in Western NY
« on: August 01, 2007, 04:38:13 pm »
I've been focusing on a couple MAME projects for a couple months now, and I'm still trying to make contacts.  Anyone here in the Western NY area?  Anyone know where I could find some gutted or non-functional cabinets in this area?

I'd expand my search to PA, maybe OH depending on whats available.

Thanks!
Blue

I go to western NY regularly. Where are you located?

I'm on the outskirts of Rochester.  I've talked to a couple of the local venders (Stott for one), but they don't really have anything in the condition I'm looking for.

I'm in Rochester every couple of months, and have some friends there. Anything in particular you are looking for?

Just a cabinet in good condition that I can convert to a MAME machine.  Horizontal for sure, and if I could find one with a working 25" monitor that would be perfect.

I did talk to a guy yesterday that said he had a Golden Tee cabinet with a working monitor that he would sell for $300.  Depending on the condition that might not be too bad.  Just more money than I was planning on spending for a cabinet.

OK, I'll ask around...
