Unique button layout.
« on: April 26, 2003, 09:34:43 am »
Here's a pic of my desktop controller that's just over a year old now. I went with a button layout that's very comfortable for the majority of the arcade classics. I haven't seen any others that have done this particular pattern, so I thought I should share it.

Why have 6 buttons if you can't play Capcom or SNK fighters properly with them?

James, you just don't get it.  Note the layout!  There is a row of 4 and a diamond of 4!

James, I compromised in order to have an ideal layout for Asteroids, Defender, Vanguard. Any standard 6 button layout I have seen just didn't feel right for these type games. I never played much Capcom/SNK back in the day, they came out after "my time" I'm afraid.
