One man's trash ..........
« on: July 31, 2007, 10:41:39 pm »
There were 15 games heading form a barn to the dumpster rescued. Unfortunately only 8 survived. They had all been left on the bare ground. Some were on rocks and the rest on dirt. All of the cabinets made of 3/4 in particle board were now 1 1/2 particle board. I was able to collect all the controls. boards, power supplies, and monitors. Here are a few of the cabinets. Ill have to add the rest to another posting.

Good find, and good luck on the salvage, but I'm still going to throw a fit.

You might recognize the rest of these. When asked if I felt guilty about charging them to haul them away, I have to say "NO". Anybody who would throw them away deserves it.

Let me get this straight, not only did you get the cabinets, but they paid you to take them.  Damn... good show sir, good show.  I get jealous of people that have room to take cabinets that they find for a good price, but people who can get paid to take cabinets like those... that's some whole new emotion, like a jealous awe, or envious worship.

Great score, keep us up to date if you do anything great with the cabs or parts.

That isn't fair...   :'(

How much did they pay you to take them and how much will you pay me to take them off your hands?  I will do you a bargain, $5 per game.
