Oscar Joystick Mounting Plate

Oscar -

Do you have any more pictures of your mounting plate available?  I might be interested, but I'd like to see it from other angles, to make sure they'll work with the sticks I already have.

Yeah, what he said..

Specifically I've got a pair of the wico leaf robotron sticks. I checked the template and they "appear" to fit but  Ijust want to make sure

I have quite a few pictures of the restrictor plates at www.oscarcontrols.com/joystick.  If you sift through those pics you will find a number of photos from many different angles of the mounting plates and restrictors.  Note that some of these pictures are somewhat outdated (the elephant graveyard!), and they show the bolt heads in the corners where I now use headless bolts.  The most recent pics are still available at www.oscarcontrols.com/index_joystick.htm, but some of these pics may give you a better idea of how they work.

I have tested the restrictors with the Wico 4" sticks (Robotron) and the P360's and they work just as well with these sticks as they do with the Happ sticks that I originally designed them for.  If you have any questions about them, please don't hesitate to ask.

I'm not interested in the restrictor plates.  At least, not right now.

I've got a pair of joysticks I pulled off an old Street Fighter II cabinet.  They're not Happ sticks, and I haven't measured them (yet).  They're MCA from Australia, which I never heard of, but they're nice.

Right now I have them mounted on wood, but I would like more shaft showing.  The mounting plate would make it look really sharp, plus the added height.

They're $15 each, though, so I've got to start saving my pennies.

you may want to bear in mind that even though they are headless bolts the still stick up over the plate by about 1/64"...I know it isn't much but it does put a little kink in things if you want to laminate over everything... i bought one and mounted a happs competition to it, and am very pleased with it, though i do wish i was flush.
