This is great. The whole bottom has dropped out on computer pricing. You see the thing is that people stopped buying new computers because there is absolutely nothing a "normal" user wants to do that a 500 Mhz pc won't handle just fine.
Don't worry, Microsoft will change that.
This is why I still use win95 on my main home PC. It runs very fast on it and it's only a k6 166. No kidding, it boots up and runs noticably faster than my gigahertz notebook with win2k.
But, Wintel will always win. I uninstalled IE to try a different browser. I liked IE better, but now I can't reinstall it because the installed checks the internet and determines that MS is killing support for win95. Now I'm going to have to finally switch to Win98, which I don't want to do (win95 compact install=50 megs, win98 compact install=200 megs)
